Residents deserve to know not only what Danielle hopes to accomplish, but how she will approach the responsibility of serving on Council. She will come prepared, make informed decisions, communicate openly, respect every tax dollar, remain accessible to residents, and look for practical opportunities that strengthen our community.
The principles below reflect the approach I’ll bring to every decision, every conversation, and every opportunity to serve Ward 3.
Prepared Decision Making
Danielle believes good decisions are built on preparation, understanding, and informed judgment. Before making a decision, she will take the time to understand the issue, review the available information, consider different perspectives, and evaluate both the short- and long-term impacts.
Good leadership isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about being willing to do the work, gather the facts, listen to the people affected, and make decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions.
When appropriate, she also believes it’s important to hear directly from residents before major decisions are made. By combining research, community input, and careful consideration, I’ll make informed decisions that are practical, responsible, and in the best interest of Ward 3 residents.
Clear Communication with Residents
Danielle believes residents deserve to know what’s happening, why decisions are being made, and how those decisions may affect our community. Clear communication builds trust, reduces confusion, and helps people feel informed and involved.
She will communicate openly by sharing updates, explaining Council decisions in a way that’s easy to understand, and making herself available to answer questions and hear concerns. Residents shouldn’t have to wonder what’s happening at Town Hall or how decisions affect their neighbourhood.
When people have access to clear information, they’re better equipped to ask questions, share ideas, and participate in meaningful conversations about the future of Ward 3.
Respect for Every Tax Dollar
Every dollar the Town spends comes from the people who live and work here. That means every decision should be made with care, responsibility, and respect for the residents who earn it.
Respecting every tax dollar isn’t about automatically spending less or saying no to new ideas. It’s about making thoughtful decisions, setting clear priorities, and ensuring every investment delivers meaningful value to our community.
Before supporting new spending, Danielle will look at the facts, consider practical options, and make sure we’re using our existing resources wisely. When new investments are needed, she will support them if they strengthen our community, improve services, and create lasting value for Ward 3 residents.
Residents deserve to know their tax dollars are being spent with purpose, transparency, and good judgment. That’s the standard Danielle will bring to every decision she makes.
Accessible and Approachable
Danielle believes residents should feel comfortable reaching out with questions, concerns, ideas, or feedback. Whether someone agrees with her or not, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and to know their voice will be heard.
Danielle will be available, responsive, and committed to maintaining open communication throughout her term on Council. Her goal is to build trust by following through on commitments, being present in the community, and making it easy for residents to connect with her.

Danielle wants Ward 3 to remain a community where people feel connected, local businesses can succeed, families want to put down roots, and residents feel heard, respected, and proud to call it home.
